Jason Galarraga
JASON GALARRAGA (Caracas, Venezuela, 1950). Painter and graphic designer. He studied at the Neumann Institute of Design and at the Plastic Arts School of Caracas, and also attended art classes at the University of Costa Rica. In 1977, he was awarded First Prize at the Tito Salas First Salon of Maracay, Venezuela. His work has been exhibited in France, Madrid, Colombia and Venezuela. In 1999, the exhibition Entre Estudio y Galería is presented in Puebla, Mexico. In 2001, he exhibits the series Things at Miami’s Durban Segnini Gallery, and in 2003 in Washington, D.C., under the same title.
